Access Permissions

In some cases, different teams within your company have up-to-date and accurate documentation, but it may not be accessible to other team members due to narrow permissions or because other team members may not have access to the tool.

To address the permissions issue, exploring the default permission set available to admins can be useful. For instance, Google Workspace admins can configure the visibility for new items added to Google Drive. This can get around the issue of needing to onboard every team to this new process individually.

In many cases, entire teams may not have access to some tool. This can be either since the tool has sensitive information, or to avoid having to purchase unnecessary seats. To address this, you can use tools like Dashworks' Slackbot, which can enable knowledge sharing within teams using Bot Accounts.
